PoS

The new PoS

  • in-store service
  • B2C & B2B
  • customers able to choose flexibly
  • after-sales service
  • integration with eCommerce and CRM

Info box

In the PoS app almost everything can be done without opening Odoo's back-end screens.

Press the " i " button at the top left of a product to see the main information about it.

Several price lists

The price list can differ by customer — B2C, B2B and so on.

Discounts

From Odoo V15.0 a discount can be entered.

Topping up the cash yourself

Where you put cash in from your own wallet — when there is not enough change, say — that can now be recorded.

Recording a down payment

A down payment can be recorded against a quotation entered in Odoo's back end.

Finding a receipt order quickly

Scan a barcode and the receipt orders containing that product are shown, so the order you need to work on is easy to find.

Coupons

Enter a coupon code, or scan the coupon's barcode, and the coupon's discount is applied.

Integration with after-sales service (the Project app)

Enter the parts used and the hours worked for after-sales service in Odoo's back end, and the PoS can show the amount to bill and settle what is unpaid.

Inventory

Barcode

GS1 codes are supported, so where there is a QR code, scanning it sets the product, the quantity, the package and the serial number in Odoo automatically.

Cluster picking

For picking several orders, a box per order lets you pick them all in one pass.

Manufacturing

Older systems assume that things go according to plan; on the floor, in reality, something irregular is always happening.

Odoo automates while staying flexible, and connects seamlessly to the work around it.

MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

A tablet is connected to Odoo, and the machines for quality checks, label printing and so on are integrated through the IoT box. Odoo supports OPC UA (Open Platform Communications - Unified Architecture).

A foot-switch controller can drive Odoo, which leaves both hands free.
