Implementation Services

Odoo Implementation

Two ways to move forward, one continuous journey — validate the fit with a fixed-scope Pilot, then bring out the best of Odoo through Agile iterations.

Step 1

Odoo Pilot Implementation

Best suited for evaluating how well Odoo aligns with your business.

A trial implementation for customers who want to judge whether Odoo — and Quartile's solutions — are the right fit, with Odoo professionals showing you real implementation know-how. We adjust the scope to your needs across requirement analysis, environment setup, data import, hands-on instruction, and add-on development. It's an effective way to right-size the cost of full implementation and eliminate the risk of surprises.

How it works

1

Preparation

We listen to your current situation and goals, and define a scope that clears up your concerns about Odoo and our services.

2

Order

Once you're satisfied with the scope of work, you place your order.

3

Implementation

We carry out the work to achieve the maximum result within the time — with your active involvement.

4

Evaluation

We jointly assess Odoo and our service quality, then prepare the project plan for full implementation.

Two ways to use the pilot

We adjust the scope to your needs.

Case 1

Suitability Assessment

For customers who've had little exposure to Odoo and want to judge how well it fits — once they understand its concepts and standard features.

  • Dedicated trial environment
  • Requirement analysis for core business processes
  • Sample data import (products, customers, vendors, BOMs, chart of accounts, etc.)
  • Trial environment updated per analysis (light development if needed)
  • Hands-on instruction along business scenarios
  • Full implementation project plan
Case 2

Extensibility Check

For customers who've already tried Odoo and want to confirm how far it can be customized and extended.

  • Dedicated trial environment
  • Analysis of customization requirements
  • Proposal of available third-party modules
  • Add-on module development
  • Full implementation project plan

Why a pilot?

Implementing a business system takes major commitment and risk on both sides. Committing while neither party can see how well they fit tends to lead to padded costs and "this isn't what we expected" moments.

A pilot lets you experience Odoo at small scope first — confirming its concepts, capabilities and limits, and our service quality, before any big commitment. It also lets us understand your business well enough to price the full project fairly.

Validated the fit? Roll it out with Agile.

Step 2

Odoo Agile Implementation

Bring out the best of Odoo.

Consultants who know Odoo inside-out work in close communication with you, running multiple iterations to shape the system into its final form quickly — an approach suited to Odoo's high development flexibility. Contracts renew roughly every three months based on estimated work volume, settled monthly against actual work.

Why it works

Builds your Odoo understanding

Engaging with Odoo from the start deepens your understanding — and your control over the project grows with it.

Easy to change course

Near-term plans are set firmly and later plans loosely, so changing requirements are easy to absorb.

Clear project visibility

We actively share status and upcoming plans, working with your feedback — so progress never becomes a black box.

Sound budget control

We adjust work volume to each period's budget and share time consumption, so you can steer the pace with full visibility.

Why agile, not waterfall?

The waterfall approach often used for large rollouts works when the final shape can be defined up front, but it copes poorly with mid-course change — and Odoo is rarely like that. Because Odoo is a flexible, ever-evolving platform, customers who come to understand it often want to revise their original direction.

Our approach has you working with Odoo from the start, setting a goal each iteration and measuring how close we get. A continuously updated test environment and constant status-sharing keep the result from drifting far from your expectations — and let us absorb changing requirements gracefully.

How we work

Fit to Standard — building on Odoo's strengths, not around them.

We fit your business to Odoo's standard features wherever we can; heavy customization lowers maintainability and raises future upgrade costs. When a requirement looks unusual we ask why — then decide each gap together:

Fit to Odoo

Adapt the workflow to a standard feature.

Absorb in operations

Handle it with a small change to how you work.

Build it

Develop only when it's genuinely needed.

When we build, we reuse first

1 · Need check

Is it really needed? Can a standard feature handle it?

2 · OCA module

Is there a suitable OCA module?

3 · Community module

Anything usable on the app marketplace?

4 · Build it

If nothing exists, develop — within OCA where possible.

Odoo has a rich third-party ecosystem. OCA modules are generally high-quality and cheap to maintain, so we use them actively; other third-party modules often fall short of our quality bar.

Quality & transparency

Whatever vendor you choose, make sure this part is solid:

  • Full access to your source code — no vendor lock-in
  • CI runs build & module tests on every change
  • Every change passes internal code review
  • Verified on staging before it reaches production
