Odoo has a rich third-party ecosystem. OCA modules are generally high-quality and cheap to maintain, so we use them actively; other third-party modules often fall short of our quality bar.

How long does an Odoo implementation take?
It depends on the scope of operations, the volume of data to migrate, and how much development is needed. As a rough guide, a pilot runs one to two months, and a phased full implementation often reaches its first go-live in three to six months. Starting from the highest-priority operations keeps both the timeline and the cost under control.
Do we have to roll out to the whole company from the start?
No. We recommend starting small — validate the fit with a pilot, go live with the highest-priority operations first, then expand the scope step by step. This keeps the initial investment down and lets your team get used to Odoo gradually.
Can we implement Odoo with standard features only?
In Japan, rarely with standard features alone — in our experience, even a small implementation typically uses 20–30 OCA modules to cover gaps such as local business practices, reporting, and usability. The point is that these are community-maintained modules rather than one-off custom code: we still adapt workflows to standard features where possible and develop only what is genuinely needed, so the system stays easy and economical to maintain over the long run.
What are OCA modules?
Open-source Odoo modules maintained by the Odoo Community Association (OCA), a non-profit community. They are peer-reviewed, widely used, and maintained across Odoo versions, so they cover common requirements at a far lower cost than one-off custom development. We use them actively and contribute our own work back to the OCA.
Does Odoo fit Japanese business practices?
Odoo's standard features are designed around international practices, so points such as monthly consolidated invoicing, Japanese tax handling, and local document formats need attention. We cover them with Japanese localization modules maintained in the OCA — where we are active contributors — rather than with one-off customization.
Can you also take care of maintenance after go-live?
Yes. We provide maintenance, hosting, on-demand improvements, and version upgrades after activation, so your Odoo keeps up as the business changes.
Can we consult you about an Odoo implemented by another vendor?
Yes. Our second-opinion service reviews your current setup, customizations, and costs from a neutral standpoint, and we can take over operations or re-implementation where it makes sense.
