On Friday 10 July 2026, Quartile will speak as an official partner at "Learning in Fukuoka, Japan's advanced IT city: a practical seminar on AI x cloud ERP for small and medium-sized businesses", held in Hakata, Fukuoka.

This is the first time Odoo has held an official seminar in Fukuoka.

There have been chances to encounter Odoo in Tokyo and online, but not many to hear Odoo's latest demos and practical, hands-on talks from official partners directly in the Fukuoka and Kyushu area.

For companies interested in applying AI, in cloud ERP, or in making their operations more efficient, we think it will be a valuable chance to see where Odoo stands today.

Advance registration is required to attend.

Before you bring in AI — is your company's data connected?

Applying AI has become an important theme for many companies in recent years.

At the same time, out in the field we often hear worries like these.

  • Not knowing how to build AI into the work
  • Excel, sales management, inventory management, accounting and e-commerce all running separately
  • Entering the same information into several systems
  • Each department looking at different figures
  • Having to check "which one is the latest" every time
  • Spreadsheets and manual work left that only one person understands

Simply adding an AI tool is not enough to apply AI effectively.

While the data inside the company — sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, customer service — stays scattered, it is hard for AI to make sound judgements or offer real help either.

In this seminar we will introduce the "unifying of operational data" that AI depends on, and the potential of the cloud ERP Odoo as its foundation, through live demos and a panel discussion.

Quartile's session: turning the world's OSS assets into strength for Japanese companies

In Quartile's session we will talk, under the theme

"Turning the world's OSS assets into strength for Japanese companies"

about business systems that last, built with Odoo and Quartile.

Odoo is an integrated business application that connects a range of business apps — sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, manufacturing, project management, e-commerce, helpdesk and more — on a shared data foundation.

But Odoo's real strength is not merely that it has a lot of features.

Odoo stands on an OSS — that is, open source — ecosystem in which the knowledge of developers and companies worldwide keeps accumulating.

Real business problems that companies around the world have faced, and their solutions, keep accumulating.

Putting those "assets of the world" to work in a form that fits Japanese business practice and the Japanese workplace.

And returning the knowledge born in Japanese workplaces back to the world.

This is the thinking Quartile holds to in supporting Odoo implementations.

Who this is for

This event is particularly suited to the following people.

  • Executives and DX leads wondering how to put AI to practical use
  • Anyone wanting to reduce spreadsheet management and double entry
  • Anyone wanting to manage sales, purchasing, inventory and accounting in one system
  • Anyone wanting real-time visibility of figures by site and by department
  • Anyone considering implementing Odoo
  • Anyone feeling the limits of their existing systems
  • Anyone thinking about a business system that can be grown over the long term, rather than built for the short term
  • Companies in the Fukuoka and Kyushu area interested in cloud ERP or applying AI

Finally

DX is not about adding more systems. What matters is creating a state where the whole company can make decisions while looking at the same information, and growing that arrangement in a form that can be maintained for a long time.

If you are interested in applying AI or in cloud ERP, if you would like to see Odoo in action, or if you are thinking about reviewing your business systems, please do come along.

We look forward to meeting you at the venue in Hakata, Fukuoka.
